Grey Roots and Chicken Boots
Smile on the outside helps you to smile on the inside. Positive attitude goes a long way, even during challenging times. I am a self-taught hobby podcaster and creative writer, with a zest for creating stories that get us thinking about life, inclusion and seeing the world through a different lens. This is unfiltered, so you might hear an occasional word that might send me on time out in the chicken coop. Oh well, I have grey roots and I wear chicken boots, so it is what it is. Simply me. Enjoy!

4. Thanksgiving Reflections on Life, Caring and Personal Inventories

Thanksgiving is a time to show gratitude, reflect on what we have and think about how we can make the world a better place. I recorded this episode early in the morning, the day after Thanksgiving dinner. It's amazing how time in the kitchen can bring lots of time to ponder life, in addition to producing culinary delights. In this episode I share childhood memories, a focus on the non-monetary values we shared growing up, and talk about lessons I have learned about life and people. A little bit about our "Personal Inventories" and how through acceptance of who we are and how we are built differently can go a long way.
